The context chip sits in the dashboard top bar and holds two things at once: whether you are looking at Live or Test data, and which of your accounts the page below is talking about. Every section reads it, so you set your context once instead of re-filtering each page.
Account switching moved hereThe account list used to sit in the menu behind your profile image, and the environment had its own separate Test mode toggle. Both are now the chip.

What the chip shows

The chip always displays the environment and a summary of the current scope, for example Whole organization · 24 accounts, Latam · 6 accounts, or 1 account · Acme Brazil. Open it to change either one.

Choosing an environment

The Environment row switches between Live and Test. One set of credentials covers both, so switching does not sign you out. See Environments for what each environment is for.

Choosing a scope

Inside the chip you can select:
  • Organization — everything you have access to. Selecting it clears any narrower selection.
  • Groups — one or more account groups. Picking a group selects the accounts inside it, including any added to the group later.
  • Accounts — individual accounts, which you can combine freely.
Use Search to find a group or account by name, and Recent to return to a scope you used before. Selections are staged while you choose, and applied when you select Apply. If you keep rebuilding the same selection, Save current selection as group turns it into a real account group, so it becomes one click next time. This creates a group for the whole organization, not a private shortcut — see Account groups.

How sections react

Not every section can show several accounts at once, so the chip behaves in two ways:
  • Sections that compare accounts, such as Payments, take the full selection. The accounts appear as checkboxes in the section’s own filters, and you can adjust them there.
  • Sections that show one account at a time, such as parts of Connections, carry the account as a tag in their filter bar. You can change which account it is, but you cannot remove it, because the page has to be about exactly one.
Some settings apply to the whole organization no matter what the chip says. Those pages show the note Settings apply to your whole organization, and the chip greys out rather than pretending to narrow them.
If your organization has one accountThe chip still appears, but it only carries Live and Test. There are no scope options, because there is nothing to choose between.
