# Try the payment flows

> Run Yuno payment flows in the sandbox and see each request, response, and code step

Yuno Flows is an interactive sandbox that runs a payment flow step by step. Use it to see a complete payment before you integrate, to check the request and response of a feature, or to compare the SDK flow with the Direct API flow.

> **[Open Yuno Flows](https://yuno-flows.tools.y.uno/)**
>
> Run a payment step by step in the Yuno sandbox.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Yuno Flows runs against the Yuno sandbox with test cards. No real money moves, and you don't enter any API keys.

## How it works

**1. Pick a flow**

Filter the list by **SDK** or **API**, then select a flow. For example, **Default checkout** for the SDK.

**2. Move through the steps**

Use **Back** and **Next**, or the arrow keys. Each step explains what happens.

**3. Read the panel**

Switch between **Code**, **Request**, and **Response** to see the code behind the call, what the merchant sends, and what Yuno returns. The code is available in curl, Node, and Python. To run it yourself, use your own sandbox keys.

**4. Pay with a test card**

In steps where the shopper pays, enter a test card in the demo store.

If a live call fails, the step shows a recorded run of the same call, marked **Recorded**.

## Yuno SDK or Direct API

> **[Yuno SDK](https://docs.y.uno/docs/yuno-sdk/how-a-transaction-flows.md)**
>
> The SDK collects the payment details and reports the result to your app. In some flows the SDK creates the payment, in others your backend does.

> **[Direct API](https://docs.y.uno/docs/direct-integration-use-cases/direct-flow.md)**
>
> Your server sends the requests to Yuno directly. Your company handles card data, so PCI DSS compliance applies.

Yuno Flows shows the sequence. These pages explain the concepts and the parameters.
